September Rocks. July fails.

September 22, 2008

I now have four stories posted in the fiction section from this month. Granted one of them was moved from the MF section that is no more (and by the way, I have to say that it's extremely fun to call it the MF section), but now September is kicking July's butt, and it makes me feel productive.

By the way, I'm extremely lucky to be in a class with Don De Grazia this semester taking a class about On the Road (hence a lot of the entries here). The scroll that Jack Kerouac wrote the novel on is at Columbia College next month. Please try and check it out.

Oh, and today I had an interview slash informative session about working as a volunteer tutor at 826CHI. Wish me luck. I hope I get to work there because as a kid I loved nothing more than writing and books (still do) and I'm excited about the chance to spread the enthusiasm for creativity and the written word to kids.

Jessa! It's Anne from Fiction One (with Germania). I just wanted to let you know it's cool that you're getting involved. If I was still at Columbia I would totally be doing that too. Do your good work, girl!
